What does "academic working" mean at a German university?

WHERE: Ludwigstraße 27, G212 (2nd floor, right across from our office)
WHAT: In a group of 15 to 20 international and German students we would like to discuss your experience with academic working at German universities. We also would like to give some tips and hints how to manage your presentations and papers better.
