WHAT: Where are you from? Where did you grow up? Why did you come to Germany and what challenges did you have to face here? Together with international and german students, we would like to talk about your experiences and have a pleasant evening with you.
You can bring anything you like, anything that reminds you of home: Food, pictures, objects - Tell us your story and try to explain your connection with home to us.
But not only the past is interesting, but also the present: How was the change? What is different from your home culture? What problems did you have to solve at the beginning? Tell us about your experiences and learn about other´s to find advice on how to manage your daily routine in Germany successfully.
Snacks and drinks will be provided. It would be great, if you bring traditional food from your home country also, so we can try to taste different countries. We will also provide a computer, in case you want to bring photos on a USB device.
And don´t be shy, if your German is not as good yet. Nobody will have to hide in this familiar and intercultural environment!
