Jobs, Internships, and a Career in Germany

How to apply? How to prepare for and how to act in an interview?

26.04.2016 at 18:00

WHEN: Tuesday, April 26th, 2016 at 6 p.m. (start at 6.15 p.m.)

WHERE: Ludwigstraße 27, room G212 (2nd floor)

WHAT: Together with international and German students, we want to talk about your experiences, ideas and questions:

Germany is not especially a cheap country for a living, and Munich in particular is even more expensive. That's why more and more students take on a side job. Also internships are ideal to gain work experience within your studies to facilitate the entry to your first job. Besides, often times they are an obligation within the curriculum.
But first, you have to find dem, apply, and leave a good impression at the interview. The foreign language might be an additional challenge for this.

Therefore we want to talk about the german application process, job portals, application documents and interview procedures and exchange our different experiences in this field.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Just bring yourself, your thoughts, your problems and ideas and we will have a great evening together.

If you want to participate, please send a short email to this address: ikberatung@lmu.de

The event will be primarily in German but don't be shy, if your German is not as good yet. Nobody will have to hide in this familiar and intercultural environment!
