Social Interaction in Germany

How to deal with acquaintances, friends, and lecturers.

24.05.2016 at 18:00

WHEN: Tuesday, May 24th 2016 at 6pm (start at 6.15pm)

WHERE: Ludwigstraße 27, room G212 (2nd floor)

WHAT: Together with international and german students, we want to talk about your experiences, ideas and questions:

It seems like there is an invisible barrier between international and German students. At this intercultural talk, we are trying to find a way to break this barrier.

After all, it is both sides profiting from opening up since intercultural competence is required in many fields today. Furthermore, international students are happy to learn some more about German culture and also for German students, the contact to international students has a lot of potential and can be great fun.

So what are the special characteristics of communication in Germany? And how can you handle it the best?
Snacks and drinks will be provided. Just bring yourself, your thoughts, your problems and ideas and we will have a great evening together.

If you want to participate, please send a short email to this address: ikberatung@lmu.de

The event will primarily in German but don't be shy, if your German is not as good yet. Nobody will have to hide in this familiar and intercultural environment!
