For the fourth time the Intercultural Counseling Office and "Chinese Students & Scholars Association" (CSSA) organize an intercultural workshop for students of LMU.

WHERE: room C022, main buildung of LMU, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1

FOR WHOM: students from China; (German) students, who are interested in the topic and would like to meat Chinese students

FEES: none

NUMBER of PARTICIPANTS: max. 16

REGISTRATION: Chinese students please register directly with CSSA: kaizhong.wang@cssa-munich.de

(German) students please register until June 5th, 2015 at: ikberatung@lmu.de

  • What does culture mean in the university context?
  • University culture in Germany and in China - differences and similarities
  • How to deal with cultural differences?
  • Stereotypes and prejudices between German and Chinese students
  • Examples and personal experience
