During their studies in Germany many international students experience teaching, learning and communication styles to be different than in their home country.

Some seem to be less successful than in their home university. Some start having bad marks and feel underestimated. The reason for this may be due to different culture based ideas about learning strategies, seminars, organisation of the studies or simply because of the way to communicate with teachers and fellow students.

In this workshop we will present you the most important elements of teaching and learning styles in intercultural comparison. The participants learn about the most important differences and develop their own strategies to be successful in a German university.
