Workshops

intecultural talk 26th of april, 2016

Our workshops provide opportunities for participants to work on general intercultural themes and/or explore students' individual personal experiences.

Workshops are customized. Topics offered in our semester program come in response to students' requests. Particularly well-attended are our culture-specific workshops sought out by students' organizations for their members who propose themes to be discussed. A new feature in our program is the workshops held for international students in English-language master programs.

Any group of international students may contact us with ideas and suggestions and request an intercultural workshop. Most frequently requested themes are those that address intercultural comparisons of learning and teaching styles, the relationship between students and faculty or interaction between foreign and German students. We begin by finding out what are the group's particular needs and then we collaborate on designing the workshop's content. We take care of organizing the venue and finding qualified trainers. All participants may attend workshops free of charge.

At the beginning of each semester, workshop programs are posted on our homepage. Sign-ups and registration can be made by telephone or email.
